
Flour made from high-quality Finola® hemp seeds, containing about 30% of nutritious protein. Hemp flour contains 21 amino acids, including 8 irreplaceable amino acids that the human body itself cannot produce. The product also contains more than 50% of insoluble fibres.
65% of the total protein content of hemp seeds is a globular protein called edestin, which is very similar to the globulin found in human blood plasma. The human body digests and absorbs edestin well and the protein helps to support the immune system. Hemp protein has a varied amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids, such as omega-3 and omega-6 in the perfect ratio (1:3) for human consumption.
Hemp flour can be used in smoothies, for baking and breading. It can be mixed with other flours (use 20% of hemp flour). The product is gluten-free.
